From now until the end of 2025, Vietnam’s tea exports are forecast to maintain a slight recovery due to increasing demand in key markets such as Iraq, India, and the Philippines and opportunities for expansion into the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa.

However, global tea prices remain low, facing competition from Kenya, Sri Lanka, and India, and reduced demand in some major markets will limit growth.

To improve the situation, experts believe the tea industry needs to focus on in-depth solutions. Specifically, this involves promoting the processing of high-value-added products, diversifying product lines to meet the different tastes of consumers, and strengthening trade promotion activities and brand promotion of Vietnamese tea internationally.
