In the 9 months of 2023, India was the largest cinnamon export market of Vietnam, reaching 30,195 tons, up 28.3%, and accounting for 44.7% of the market share.

According to statistics of the Vietnam Pepper Association (VPA), in September 2023, Vietnam exported 5,651 tons of cinnamon and the total export turnover reached 16.4 million USD. Compared to the previous month, the export volume was down by 44.5%, equivalent to a decrease of 4,524 tons.

India is the largest cinnamon export market of Vietnam in 9 months of 2023.

India remained the main export market in September but export value fell 48.8% to 2,915 tons; followed by the US down 23.2% to 683 tons, etc.

From January 1 to September 30, 2023, Vietnam exported 67,503 tons of cinnamon with a total export turnover of 199.8 million USD, which was up 20.3% in volume but down 1% in value over the same period in 2022.

The average export price of cinnamon in the 9 months of 2023 reached 2,960 USD/ton, down 18.4% over the same period last year. India is the largest cinnamon export market of Vietnam with 30,195 tons, up 28.3% and accounting for 44.7% of the market share. Next, the US reached 7,532 tons, up 2.9% and accounting for 11.2% of the market share. Bangladesh ranks third with 4,630 tons, up 33.5% and accounting for 6.9% of the market share./.
