According to Mr. Loc, the reason for the decrease in durian prices recently is that durian is everywhere.

The price of durian Ri 6 at the garden in Tien Giang currently ranges from 48,000 to 55,000 VND.
The price has decreased sharply compared to Feb 2023 (200,000 VND/kg) but it still brings high profits for farmers.
According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhi (Cai Lay district, Tien Giang province): “At the current price, the farmer still has a profit of 5,000 – 10,000 VND per kg of durian. Similarly, durian prices in Ben Tre and Dong Thap have “cooled down” compared to about two months ago.
